In cooperation with a native speaker we created German subtitles for Jiří Havelka's feature film The Gardener's Year, for its screening at the German-Czech Cultural Festival in Bremen. Two video outputs were created: an mp4 file with embedded subtitles and DCP file with integrated subtitles.

We delivered Czech, English and German subtitles for the final version of the documentary feature Kingdom of Soap Bubbles, which follows the story of the Schichts, a family of Bohemian German factory owners, from their beginnings in soap production all the way through their co-founding of the Unilever Group to their eventual expulsion from Czechoslovakia after WWII. The subtitling work by ear was rather intricate, since four different languages are spoken – German, Czech, Portuguese, and English.

We have created Czech subtitles for Charlène Favier's new film Oxana, a powerful portrait of Ukrainian artist and activist Oksana Chatchko, co-founder of the feminist movement Femen. The project also included editing English subtitles and preparing formats for cinema distribution and television screening.

We’ve arranged for a creation of French and English subtitles for a French documentary about people living with disabilities for a Luxembourgish MEP. The film was then screened in the European Parliament and in cinemas.

We’ve created English and German subtitles to two Czech documentaries about the Nazi era of Terezín. We also had to do some video editing as part of the project.
